Wendel R Weaver Co-founder, University of Texas
Chuck James Co-founder, Texas Christian University Born and raised in St Joseph, Missouri. Graduated from TCU in 1989. TCU provided great opportunities, but none greater than the one to be involved in the founding of the Beta Chapter of Beta Upsilon Chi. Chuck’s heart beats loud and clear for BYX and its’ leadership and envisions BYX being a part of every major university as it provides a vital missing link in the opportunity for men to connect with other men who desire to follow Jesus Christ. Brett Williams
Co-founder, Texas A&M Entering college with a strong desire for Christian brotherhood and fellowship, God gave Brett the vision of starting the Gamma Chapter of Beta Upsilon Chi at Texas A&M and he served as the inaugural president. Brett received his B.B.A. in accounting from Texas A&M University in 1995. After graduating from A&M, Brett spent a year practicing accounting in Houston before starting law school at Baylor School of Law. As a licensed attorney and a CPA, God has used Brett's background to further BYX by organizing the ministry as a nonprofit corporation and providing counsel on various legal/accounting matters.

In 1985, Wendel, along with a handful of other college men from the University of Texas, saw a need for an all male group that was based on the unity and brotherhood of Jesus Christ. Once graduated, again he saw a need for an alumni association to help keep chapters on track, flourish, and start new chapters.
